Wow really? i could care less if i get killed, i've been killed hunting many times here and it doesn't bother me i don't get all pissed off about it. Its a game i don't care if i get killed, i haven't PvPed much here because i have been spending time working on skills and hunting to get money to work on skills. Once i have my skills and a some gold so i can afford to lose stuff pvping then i want to create an order guild i have planned. And like i said in multiple posts, i don't base my opinion of things in UO just off my experience on IN i played many shards and order/chaos has been very similar on all of them.

Even on IN1 chaos could attack chaos and order could attack order. There was just this general agreement between order that they don't attack each other. However, that pact was very often broken. IN1 was fun at times but you have to accept that it's never going to be the same again. This is a different server with different kind of population.

I like how they failed to mention that it was like this on IN1 aswell they just want it changed when theres no reason too

Order is by definition the good guys. Order aren't supposed to attack fellow orders. If they do, well they can go Chaos. Chaos can attack anyone they want, (fellow Chaos members and order members). Chaos is by definition the evil darker side. On an RP shard those were the guidelines by which people followed, if an order guild did attack another order guild, that order guild would be isolated and depleted by the rest of the Order guilds.

That concept by nature is the fundamental dynamic between Chaos and Order.

It was designed this way by the creators of UO and has been executed this way since OSI. There is no point in having chaos or order if there wasn't a distinguishable feature between them. However on a PVP shard they fail to use these guidelines only because there is OFTEN an IMBALANCE between Chaos and Order. How do you fix this? Well you can't, not everyone on a PVP shard wants to be the good guys most ppl want to kill everyone, so just go chaos. Let the people who want to help each other be order.

All order guilds, dont be order unless u want to help other orders. Otherwise just switch your alignment to the Chaos side where you have the liberty of choosing your own enemies.

funny thing how you guys are complanning when you have the same system as you did on IN1 it wasn't created to be meant to do something, look how much UO evovled you think it was meant to be like this? btw the guilds weren't altered so it's set like this as deafult which means orders can attack orders and so on so you're arguments are invalid

Order and Chaos never HAD to do anything. On a RP or a PK server it made no difference, the system was all the same. The players are the ones that decide what to do with that system.

Players are constantly changing and as a result so are the servers themselves. The IN players seem to have it in their minds that IN always had order and chaos, but they are forgetting the way things happened i guess. Things were constantly changing..

Although it definately was a lot of fun to have two huge groups of players battling it out.. One side full of Red's hovering around the guard lines and another full of order hovering inside the guard line getting ready to rush

I also remember when order had pretty much died, most people were chaos, chaos was attacking chaos.. and the few remaining order guilds were attacking order and chaos as well. So like i said, it really depends on the players.

If you want order to be more unified.. make something happen. Start talking to the leaders of the guilds, make a few new order guilds.. form alliances.. even with Neutral guilds.. Start grouping up against those players that just want to kill everyone, soon enough they will be alone against lots of people and will have to start forming their own groups etc.

The beauty of UO is that its always up to you to make what you want happen.

Players putting some effort to make an impact on how server changes? Nah, in here it's all about *****ing how there's no active staff to host tournaments.
