What is mIRC? mIRC is an internet relay chat client, it works much like other messengers, except instead of having a contact list, users connect to eachother through public, or private channels. Users can have individual private chats just like other messengers as well. By the way, it's the best messenger system there is. Shut up, it's not the best! Yes, it seriously is. It has ALL of the functions of any other chat program, it can even be accessed through a web client if you are away from home. GameSurge? What's that? GameSurge supports over 23 connected servers, being home to over 543600 registered users and 33605 different channels. Players of games such as counterstrike use this exclusively for contact. Why isn't it as big as sliced bread?? Unfortunately, it's not as user friendly as it could be, this has changed. I have set up mIRC for you. It also isn't whored out by huge companies like AOL or MSN. You'll notice AIM is used exclusively in the states and MSN is used everywhere else. I want my own channel and stuff There is going to be a small guide on how to make your own private or public channel. So you could make a channel called #taylorsawesomeclub and hide it from everyone, and only invite your special friends into your circle jerk of a channel. GMs could make a channel such as #INat-GM and all stay there, in order to keep organized both inside and outside of the game. You can also make public ones, it's incredibly easy.
