What is mIRC?
mIRC is an internet relay chat client, it works much like other messengers, except instead of having a contact list, users connect to eachother through public, or private channels. Users can have individual private chats just like other messengers as well. By the way, it's the best messenger system there is.

Unfortunately, it's not as user friendly as it could be, this has changed. I have set up mIRC for you. It also isn't whored out by huge companies like AOL or MSN. You'll notice AIM is used exclusively in the states and MSN is used everywhere else.

I want my own channel and stuff
There is going to be a small guide on how to make your own private or public channel. So you could make a channel called #taylorsawesomeclub and hide it from everyone, and only invite your special friends into your circle jerk of a channel. GMs could make a channel such as #INat-GM and all stay there, in order to keep organized both inside and outside of the game. You can also make public ones, it's incredibly easy.

Follow the instructions in the newbie.txt file that opens, this is the only one thing that is not automated, you must create a gamesurge account via their website.

Channel: #INX

On the status window you type:
/s irc.gamesurge.net - To connect on Gamesurge server

and after your connected type:
/j #INX - That will join you in the channel.
